Biography:
Dr. Elizabeth Shaw is a fictional character first appearing in the 2012 film Prometheus. She is an archaeologist and scientist who, along with her partner Charlie Holloway, discovers ancient star maps suggesting the existence of humanity's creators.
Driven by her faith and a desire to understand humanity's origins, Shaw joins the Prometheus expedition to the distant moon LV-223. Her scientific curiosity clashes with the crew's corporate agenda, leading to conflict and ultimately, tragic consequences.
Though Shaw survives the events of Prometheus, her fate is revealed in the prologue short film "Last Supper" and later elaborated upon in Alien Covenant. These reveals show that she and the android David travelled to the Engineers' homeworld, with David eventually killing her to continue his own experiments.
